Mobile Medical Teams in Kherson and Mykolaiv Regions
In 2024, CASERS mobile medical teams operated in deoccupied and frontline communities of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
Teams of doctors provided primary and specialized medical care to residents of remote villages where, due to the war, medical infrastructure has been destroyed and access to hospitals and transportation remains extremely limited.
Special attention was given to patients with limited mobility, who received medical care directly at home.
Overall, in 2024 the mobile medical centers:
11 679
conducted medical consultations
7 787
provided assistance
to people

Telemedicine Centers in the Kherson Region

In 2024, CASERS significantly expanded the network of telemedicine centers in the Kherson region.
Telemedicine has enabled community residents to receive consultations from specialized doctors without the need to travel to regional hospitals — which is especially critical in conditions of ongoing shelling, lack of transportation, and long distances.
Telemedicine Results in 2024
9
telemedicine centers opened
New centers were launched or renewed in:
Kherson, Lymanets, Borozenske, Vysoke, Chornobaivka, Muzykivka, Kochubeivka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, and Novoraisk.

Thanks to the telemedicine centers, patients were able to:
Receive free consultations from specialist doctors across various fields.
Interpret test results or receive referrals for laboratory tests.
Receive treatment prescriptions and / or adjustments.
Obtain referrals for additional diagnostics and hospitalization.
Undergo rapid blood tests, ECGs, dermatoscopy, otoscopy, and digital stethoscope examinations.
Implemented projects
Special events
In 2024, CASERS received a Nissan Pathfinder from our partners Legacy of WAR, significantly strengthening our capacity to conduct mobile outreach missions in frontline communities.

Equipment
In 2024, CASERS received I-Care tonometer from our partners for measuring intraocular pressure.
This modern portable device allows for fast, accurate, and contact-free measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP). The examination is performed without the use of anesthetic eye drops, making the procedure comfortable and painless for patients.
Thanks to its mobility and ease of use, the device enables ophthalmological screening during mobile outreach missions, including in remote and frontline communities, ensuring early detection of glaucoma and other eye diseases.
Training by the Red Cross Rapid Response Team
During a training session conducted by the Red Cross Rapid Response Team, the CASERS team practiced Stop the Bleed techniques as well as vehicle evacuation procedures in scenarios involving landmine detonation (“petal” mines) or FPV drone strikes.
The training strengthened the team’s readiness to operate safely in high-risk environments and improved their ability to provide life-saving assistance during emergency situations.

About us in the media
With the support of

How to support us in providing medical help civilians in frontline and de-ocuppited areas?
Provide medical equipment
We're always looking for ways to provide more needed medical services. For this, we need:
— portable ultrasound;
— portable blood analyzer;
— fluorography machines;
— ophthalmologist's equipment;
— mobile dental clinic / portable dentist equipment, etc.
We're open to different opportunities to add new examination methods we can use on the spot during our missions.
Donate for the immediate needs
Support us one time to help cover current needs: fuel, consumables, medicine, etc.
Provide the vehicle
We're looking for an off-road vehicle for our missions. The roads on de-occupied territories are poor, and our ambulances constantly need repairs. So we need a spare reliable transport to reach people constantly.
Support our sustainability
We are looking for sustainable funding for the organization to continue its work, save health and lives.
