Operation for a woman from the Kherson region

13.02.24

She lives in the village of Kostyrka in the de-occupied territories. Previously, we came there with an ultrasound specialist, and after the examination, the woman was recommended to undergo an operation.

She contacted the doctor from the nearest hospital, but, unfortunately, she could not get there herself and pay for the operation. There is no public transport at the moment, so even getting to the hospital by private "taxi" would cost her a lot, which she did not have.

We helped to get to the hospital and cover the cost of the operation. She will be discharged in a few days, so we also arranged for her to get home from the hospital.

Such help for single grandparents is very important, so we are glad that we can help do what is necessary to maintain health.

A man after treatment

29.01.24

We helped a low-mobility patient to get home after treatment.

The man recently suffered a stroke and was on treatment in a hospital. His condition improved, but the man used a wheelchair and needed special transportation to return home.

We are happy to help with transportation, as well as help the family with things necessary for care: a toilet chair, money for medicine and other necessities.

Eye surgery for a woman | Donetsk region

20.01.24

We helped a woman organize and pay for eye surgery.

During the visit, the ophthalmologist recommended that the woman urgently undergo an operation because otherwise, there was a risk of losing her sight. We helped find and make an appointment for surgery at a hospital in Dnipro, covered all associated costs and supported the woman during all stages.

The operation was successful. We wish her a speedy recovery!

Operation for a woman from the Kherson region

17.01.24

Six months ago, the woman lost her only daughter and son-in-law—a rocket hit their house. She has no one and nothing left.

The woman needed to have her gallbladder removed. We arranged an operation for her in the surgical department, transported her to the hospital and paid for the surgery. The operation was difficult, but it was successful.

We stay in touch to help with the needs that will arise.

Hospitalization | Kherson region

3.12.23

Consultation and hospitalization for a pregnant woman in the de-occupied Kherson region.

After the doctors' appointments, the team left for another de-occupied village, where a pregnant woman was waiting for help. Although it was already evening and it was pretty "loud", the doctors, without hesitation, agreed to visit this village additionally to provide the necessary assistance.

Doctors examined the woman and recommended immediate hospitalization in the maternity hospital. And the very next day, the woman gave birth to a girl there👧

Thank you Ms. Natalia and Svitlana for the courage to help and care for patients 💙💛 Indomitable doctors of Ukraine 🙏

This mission is made possible by the support of the program “Ukraine Rapid Response Fund” program implemented by IREX with support from the U.S. State Department. Emergency hospitalization of a woman with brain cancer

25.11.23

During the work of the mobile medical centre, the woman's relatives called our coordinator and asked to examine her. She lost consciousness, hit her head and received a hematoma on the back of her head.

The de-occupied Kherson region has very long and bad roads, and with such bad weather, it would take the state ambulance a long time to get to her. We explained the situation to them and agreed to transport the patient to the regional hospital since we were already there and could do it faster.

The team waited for the results of the MRI and a consultation with the doctor, who recommended the patient stay in the hospital under observation. So we returned with her husband and the nurse.

We're glad to help to get the medical help people need as soon as possible.

Who we are

We had businesses and launched startups, so we have strong digital and management skills. We use these skills to help Ukrainians survive this difficult time.

Now, we focus on medical help on de-occupied territories, and it helps us to help efficiently. But on the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we had different initiatives:

  • Delivered humanitarian and military aid.

  • Helped people with evacuation.

  • Launched a tech solution that helped with coordination.
