This time we were a real frontline ambulance. We received a call that a woman had a heart attack. When we arrived, it was already 5:30 p.m., and it was getting dark. No one goes to that village anymore because it is extremely risky—just a few kilometres to the positions of the russians.

The woman already could not breath. She had terrible pains in her heart. A cardiac monitor confirmed a heart attack. We barely had time to get her to the first frontline stabilization post of the military, where an anesthesiologist inserted a catheter into the central vein and performed critical therapy for such cases. This stabilization post is powered by a generator, so they do not accept serious patients. After stabilization, we took the woman to Chuguyev.

If she had not been taken then by us, no one would have come, and the chances for her to survive would be extremely low.

Alexei is paralyzed. We've evacuated him from Zaporizhzhia to Lviv. The man spent most of his time at home, and the road was long. So we were pleased that he and other of our patients can now watch what's happening outside on the tablet. We had a donated web camera and a tablet that we connected and thanked that the patient could "look in the window".

Alexei told us it's interesting, especially when the flashing lights are on.

We've evacuated a lying woman and her son, as well as two dogs :) Their house was bombed, and they lived in the basement of a state institution. We took them to Kharkiv, and now the woman is with her family and gets needed care.

We've evacuated a paralyzed older man from Kharkiv. He just had an ischemic stroke. He cannot do rehabilitation in Kharkiv now, so they go further to Germany.

Our team stopped in Kyiv for a night in a hospital and then in Lviv so that the patient could rest after the long road and wait for further transportation. He went with his wife. They try to find suitable rehabilitation so he can come back to life.

We had a lot of evacuations of low-mobility people from frontline villages and towns together with their family members.

We've evacuated an older woman and her daughter from Kramatorsk. When the volunteers took the woman outside, she started crying because it was the first time she saw the sky and was out in several years.

We've transported a paralyzed woman and her husband from Truskavets to Przemyśl.
