Evacuations of low-mobile people from the Kherson region
7.06.23
The second day of evacuations after the blowing up of the dam.
In the morning, we evacuated three low-mobile people from Sadove, whose houses were already flooded. Then the volunteers met people from the boats and took them further to the hospitals or shelters. Volunteers were on drive the whole day. They can't even count the exact number of such trips. In general, for the day, we did 8-10 drives, each taking +- 3 people with cats, dogs and all their things.

We continue to evacuate low-mobility people from the Kherson region. We've already evacuated two more ambulances of people, that was the second trip for the day. There are already boats in use to reach people and take them from the roofs of the houses. The water still comes.

Evacuations of low-mobile people from the Kherson region
06.06.23
We planned a mobile medical centre in the Beryslav region. At 5:30 a.m. it became known that the dam was blown up. We immediately changed our plans and went there. Along the way, we looked for contacts with whom we could coordinate.
As soon as we arrived, we received the first request. It was the village of Sadove. It's located right on the Dnipro, a little further from the Antonov Bridge. Everything is flooded, so the russians are no longer there. We took two laying people, and two sitting people, who moved on crutches. One woman was with two cats and a dog. Before 1 p.m., they'd already been in a hospital, and we drove back to evacuate more people.

A woman with a broken knee
29.05.23
People in the de-occupied territories know us. Therefore, when the woman fell down the stairs and broke her knee and the bone under it, she immediately called us. Volunteers spent the whole night on the way to her and back to Dnipro to take her to the hospital, where there was a chance to help with such an injury.
The fracture turned out to be very difficult. In one department, doctors gave very disappointing forecasts. But in another hospital, they found a solution and planned an operation. Its cost is 35K hryvnias, 10K of which we found on the same day. Doctors say that the mobility of the joint will restore, but at the moment, they can't tell in what percentage (the optimistic forecast is 70%).
Even before our arrival, the woman was given painkillers, and we also injected them on the way. But despite the pain and disappointing forecasts, the woman stayed strong. We believe in the best and wish her a speedy recovery!

Medical evacuation. Vyrivka
26.05.23
After a telemedicine consultation with a doctor, we took a man with pneumonia to a hospital in Velyka Oleksandrivka (Kherson region). We wish him a fast recovery!
Timely consultation with a doctor and referral to a hospital are vital for saving life and health. Unfortunately, there are currently no doctors in the de-occupied territories and no transport, so older people can't get to hospitals in nearby cities on their own.

Medical evacuation. Maksym Gorky
20.05.23
After the day of online consultations with the doctor, we took the grandmother with severe back pain to the hospital. She will have a CT scan and additional examinations to determine the causes and treatment methods.
Such help is significant for older people. There is currently no transport in the de-occupied territories, and the nearest working hospitals are far away, so it is difficult for people to get there. Especially when something hurts, you feel bad... But high-quality diagnosis and timely medical care can significantly improve the situation and prevent disability.

Medical evacuations. Novoselivka
6.05.23
This time after consultations with a doctor, we helped two people with evacuations for hospitalization.
We were in Novoselivka around two weeks ago and took three people to the hospital then. But new patients get hospitalization referrals every visit, people still need help. They were without needed medical care for a long time, so many people had severe health conditions, their chronic diseases got much worse and they got some new problems with health...
We're happy to come and help as we can!
